BACKGROUND
Founded by Charles AKAKPO, a brilliant judge and teacher, the Firm opened in 1985 in the heart of the historic Les Étoiles district.
His son Martial AKAKPO completed his studies in law and applied for his admission at the Bar of Lome after a training course in the firm and with the Bar of Paris.
Martial AKAKPO succeeded his father and took over the management of the Firm , when the latter was appointed Judge at the Constitutional Court of Togo.
The growth in the Firm’s activity and its international positioning required a reorganisation. Martial AKAKPO chose to convert the structure into a professional partnership of lawyers.

DAKAR-COTONOU In accordance with Regulation No. 10/2006/CD/UEMOA on the free movement and establishment of lawyers from the Union within the WAEMU space, the Firm has undertaken to open secondary offices in countries in this area. Procedures are underway, and offices in Dakar and Cotonou are due to open shortly.
