Holding an advanced post-graduate diploma (DEA) in fundamental private law and a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in business law, Yaovi A. MONTCHO joined MARTIAL AKAKPO & ASSOCIÉS in October 2015 as associate legal adviser after several years at the Business Law Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lomé.

He also lectures at the University of Lomé and the Catholic University of West Africa. He has solid knowledge of OHADA law.

He provides both advisory and litigation services in cases involving business law, employment law, contracts and liability, and is currently head of the employment law department.
