A trainee lawyer at the Togo Bar Association, Baba Solim PEKELE joined the team at MARTIAL AKAKPO & ASSOCIES in August 2019 and works in legal research and advice and managing litigation in a variety of areas including OHADA business law (debt recovery procedures, general business law, company law and law of security rights, etc.), employment law, law of obligations and liability, family law, and property law.
In addition to his training as a business lawyer, he holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Economics and Management (IEMN-IAE) of the University of Nantes.
He has over six years of diverse professional experience gained both in law firms (4 years), companies (6 months) and the public administration (2 years).
He also takes a keen interest in issues relating to the development of Africa and contributed, alongside Jean-Louis ROY, the former Secretary General of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), to a work titled "Bienvenue en Afrique, le Chantier du siècle” published in September 2019. He is a member of Toastmasters International where he practices public speaking and leadership.
